The second book in the epic fantasy series, Erafeen, is almost finished.
How’s that for an opening line? And April 1st was five days ago, so I’m not fooling you.
The end is quickly approaching for the writing phase of Erafeen #2. With a few more chapters to go, excitement is swelling within me like it’s 2015 all over again—the year I finished the first installment, The Jestivan, and experienced the thrill ride that was editing, revision, design, more editing and revision, marketing, etc.
With that said, I wanted to share a little something. It’s not much of anything really. Some of you might find it interesting. I’ve been driving myself crazy over exactly what the book cover will look like, and there are a few ideas I have in mind. I’ll show you one of them. And remember, this isn’t supposed to be a work of art by Da Vinci, Picasso, or Salvador Dali … this is a very rough sketch.
It’s time for speculation. For those of you who have read The Jestivan, do you think you know who this is? Do you think it’s someone you’ve already met, or is it a new character introduced in Book #2? Or does it represent two different people?
Guess away!
I can’t wait to share the 2nd journey with the world. The Jestivan, of course, will end up in more life-threatening situations as they find out more about themselves and the world around them ……………. But that’s all I’ll say.
Look out for Erafeen #2 (not announcing the title yet) at the end of 2017.
